Minzy officially departs from 2NE1 plus a comeback for 2NE1

Another sad day for Blackjacks, Gong Minzy officially leaves the group, but there will be a 2NE1 comeback!

According to YG Entertainment  "We are sorry to announce that 2NE1's maknae Minzy leaves and no longer part of 2NE1. "The girls' contracts with YG will expire on May 5, 2016, and we have met the members last January to discuss their desire to renew However, Minzy said that she wants to leave 2NE1."

YG Entertainment also confirmed a 2NE1 comeback this summer with the 3 members CL, Park Bom, and Dara. Their agency stated, "The remaining members have renewed their contracts, and currently preparing for a comeback this summer as 2NE1."
