On April 19, Cube Entertainment have revealed the issue to the reporters. The Agency stated "Starting from today, Jang Hyun Seung will be no longer part of BEAST. The group will continue as a 5 member group consisting, Yoon Doojoon, Gikwang, Yang Yoseob, JunHyung and Dong-woon, and will continue to promote as BEAST. Jang Hyun Seung will focus on his personal music work as a solo artist.”

We want to thank the fans of Beast who keep on supporting and loving the boys, We are truly thankful to the fandom.
BEAST's Jang Hyun Seung will officially depart from the team starting from today and will continue as a five member team, Yoon Doojoon, Gikwang, Yang Yoseob, JunHyung and Dong-woon. Jang Hyun Seung is expected to pursue his work as a solo artist and not will no longer promote with the members.
Hyun Seung and the other five members tried to consult each other and review the sudden changes that happened in the group, their own perspective to the music has also been discussed. The remaining members have agreed Hyun Seung to leave the group.
